Interview with Tamara Schandy in Café & Negocios
With adrenaline and “tremendous satisfaction” economist Tamara Schandy experienced the entire construction process of the consulting firm Exante, which was born in January 2020. After more than 17 years at Deloitte, she took on the challenge of positioning a new firm, which she leads together with the renowned Pablo Rosselli, Florencia Carriquiry and Priscilla Pelusso.
Schandy remembers that the environment saw the new firm as a “braver” step than they themselves experienced, since they constituted a team that had been consolidated for a long time. “We did not see it as such a risky step, because we had been working together for more than ten years. We seek to develop as much as possible the synergies between the world of economic consulting and the role of the financial advisor. It is a combination that has a lot of power and delivers a lot of value,” he commented. He added that it is complemented by the work of company restructuring, purchase and sale and corporate finance.
These last twelve months have been “super busy”, with an increase in demand for business analysis services. “It's those moments that matter. The economic advisor does not have a crystal ball, but we always conceive the role with active involvement with the client,” he explained.
