Interview with Priscilla Pelusso in El País
EXANTE partner Priscilla Pelusso participated in the El País newspaper article “Mergers and acquisitions of companies in Uruguay are slower due to high Fed rates and low dollar”.
Priscilla assured that so far in the first half of 2024 they have compiled about 10 transactions of operations with change of control and approximately 15 transactions if asset purchases or the acquisition of minority packages are included. As for the sectors most involved, Pelusso mentioned technology and fintech, mass consumption, distribution and services.
In relation to the performance obtained so far, the Exante partner mentioned that after the passage of May and June (the two most notable months of the first semester of 2023) they will probably end the semester “with a similar or even superior behavior” to the first semester. from last year.
